Optimal has produced a report titled "Employment Options for Low- Skilled Workers in Baltimore: Workforce Training Issues and Challenges" to identify viable long-term employment alternatives for low-skilled workers. It is the goal of the round table to present the findings of our study on workforce development in the Baltimore metropolitan area; discuss the job training and educational infrastructure for the occupations identified in the report; examine barriers facing workers entering these occupations; and recommend ways of improving recruitment and retention in these fields.
